Shimrod101 uploaded a mod designed to improve overall in-game lighting on “The Sims 4.” It is called “Improved Lighting.” It primarily alters indoor lighting effects but can be used to improve outdoor lighting as well. Be sure to make a new thread when you post the photo, I'd be very interested to see it.Gamers wanting to improve in-game lighting, add body hair on male Sims and revive Michael Jackson to the virtual world of “The Sims 4” can now use the mods below. Someone should take a photo of a real-life room and recreate that room in game with the same amount of lighting to show how much darker it is than it should be. The windows don't give as much light as they should either. I loved the lighting in the Sims 3, it was so beautiful. I covered my house in the only floor to ceiling windows in the game and it was STILL dark. It was so many that I was getting the "cannot place objects intersecting eachother" all the time because my whole ceiling is covered. I'm actually going to take a picture of how many lights I had to use, its ridiculous. If this isn't addressed in a patch I seriously think we need a lighting mod asap. I'm seeing some great houses and screenshots but for me they're slightly ruined by everything looking so dim inside.

I'm honestly surprised more people aren't complaining about this. A, my sims are poor and its annoying and B, it looks ugly as hell when you look at my ceiling.I have a total of 42 lights in my house between all the rooms, I'm sorry, but that is too much and it NEEDS to be fixed.

Yea, but it is ridiculous that I had to add 14 lights to ONE area to get my screenshots on my thread to look like they do, which is just normal.
